Ip Camera App can stream the smartphone camera over local network. cv2.VideoCapture can be easily configured to take the camera source from the smartphone camera over IP Camera App. This PR shows a demo of the FPS comparisons of IP Camera integration with cv2.VideoCapture stream and the threaded VideoStream module from imutils.video. The main aim of this demo file is to show how easily we can use the cameras of smartphones and do the processing in computer.
Tested on IP Camera App
usage :
python ipcamera_fps_demo.py --ip-camera-addr http://192.168.43.1:8080/video
[ip address should be changed to correct ip address of the smartphone in the local network]
